The interior of the store is modeled after the room that served as the "monastery pharmacy" in Santa Maria Novella Church until the end of the 19th century. The store is the first in the world to feature "Fons," a sink where customers can try out hand soaps and skincare products.

The customer service was simply fantastic. Not only were they able to suggest fragrances that I liked, but the service was also very professional in every way. I came to BAL to buy perfumes from other stores, but the products here are so excellent that they made the other stores pale in comparison. It's no wonder that they're such a long-established store.
