Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella was born as a Dominican friars’ convent in Florence, Italy in 1221. Since then, we select nature’s finest ingredients to give life to authentic, beauty-seeking routines for the home and the body.
Come to any of our stores or shop online our newest Eau de Parfums, Eau de Colognes, soaps, candles and skincare and bath products. The historical location, of Via Della Scala 16, Florence and also the very first operational site for the Maison, it is today a boutique museum where history brings alive the magic with care, savoir-faire, elegance and we are committed to preserve, and evolve, a heritage like no other.

The fragrance‘s are outstanding, the ambiance such a differentiator compared to average NYC it is calm inside there is no noise, no crowd and the air smells beautiful but in a humble way. We stayed their at least 30min and enjoyed what this brand has to offer and to choose was really difficult. The staff was very kind and patient. This is the beginning of a love affair 😊

Love this place! You'll find Italian exports that are difficult to find in New York, like Lorenzo Villoresi colognes (mmm!) and the complete line of Santa Maria Novella products. The latter is the raison d'etre for this shop, with fabulous old-school skin creams, mouthwashes, room fragrances, etc. Okay, so a bar of soap is $35, but you're supporting NUNS here, folks!

What a great store, and the employees are awesome. It goes without saying that Santa Maria Novella products are all incredible. I can’t recall his name but the gentleman who helped us was very knowledgable and guided us in the right direction on some fragrances, his choices were spot on. I would buy every item that they make if I could afford it.
