Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella was born as a Dominican friars’ convent in Florence, Italy in 1221. Since then, we select nature’s finest ingredients to give life to authentic, beauty-seeking routines for the home and the body.
Come to any of our stores or shop online our newest Eau de Parfums, Eau de Colognes, soaps, candles and skincare and bath products. The historical location, of Via Della Scala 16, Florence and also the very first operational site for the Maison, it is today a boutique museum where history brings alive the magic with care, savoir-faire, elegance and we are committed to preserve, and evolve, a heritage like no other.

I stopped by the store without a clear idea, just wanting to change perfumes, and I have to say that thanks to Ilaria, I found exactly what I was looking for (even though I didn't know it yet!) She was really kind, helpful, and above all, very good at listening to what I had to say. She let me try several fragrances, explaining the differences simply but precisely, without rushing me or making me feel uncomfortable. You can tell she knows what she's doing and is passionate about it. In the end, I bought a perfume that was perfect for me and that I adore. A super positive experience, thank you so much, Ilaria! :)

Lovely. Extremely nice people. We felt very comfortable, and even though the fragrances have a long tradition and were therefore a bit more expensive, we found something and will remember our visit to this shop and Venice for a long time to come.

Who would have thought I would love a perfume store! I went back twice because everything smells good! Location: It is located in Venice, Italy. The interior is small, but there is a good display of the perfumes. They said this just opened a week ago. Service: they are super nice and kind. They give good description of every scent Scent: there are a lot of choices but I bought 3 that are not that strong and smells like fruity and cotton. The best scents for me are ANGELI DI FIRENCE (they said it’s the most famous scent, CINQUANTA and ALBA DI SEOUL. They all smell so good!! Price rating: 8/10, it is kinda expensive to be honest but it smells so good!! Definitely will go back here when I visit Italy again!
