However, Officina Profumo Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella became and is a vehicle for introduction to history as a relevant role in modern society to introduce one culture to another — the world is witnessed to the many relevances of Florence today in fashion and culture, through you. My first time visiting your shop, I recall the sense of journey looking for it. To be honest, I kept getting lost in the details of the route. And I first ended up at the Basilica di Santa Maria Novella. I felt free and at ease when I arrived. And it reminded me, the basilica, that you are not far away. It is why I walked the direction I did today. I was a student, no real money, but when I found you I was rewarded with awe. Awe in culture and journey. I still use your products. I became a persistent customer and advocate of your Idratante Labbra. It has been the best lip moisturizer out of any other, across any brand. And I know. I use to battle with the elements, more so in winter climates since I was kid. It has worked for me, and finally something works. Just like the journey, finally I found you. And I walk, hike, run, cycle, fly, travel further with you with me.

We visited Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella and were enchanted by the atmosphere. The space is stunning, with antique charm. It feels more like a museum than a shop. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable. While the perfumes are made with great care and history, to our taste they felt a bit simple and old-fashioned—but that’s purely subjective. Others may find them timeless. Regardless, the experience is unforgettable and worth a visit for the beauty, history, and sensory ambiance alone.
