Born as a convent of Dominican friars in Florence in 1221, the Officina Profumo Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella is an excellence of the Italian tradition. The location on Via della Scala is a magnificence of frescoes and paintings that feels like entering a museum. You can smell the scents and fragrances of the wonderful potpourris, perfumes and soaps and try creams and beauty products. Our favorites are the timeless almond paste for hands and rose water, a unique beauty elixir that makes the skin of the face very luminous. Guenda welcomed us with courtesy and professionalism, making us discover the history of the place and the variety of new products, and at the cash register we found Elena who enriched us with further explanations, two fantastic and precious sales assistants, very good! It is worth a visit, you will be enchanted
